About the Band
Glor Na nGael is a relatively new band, as pipe bands go, going through some growing pains in the late 90’s as its founding members tried to develop a core to build on. In 2000 the Band first performed as a full marching unit at the Memorial Day parade in Rockville Centre and it continues to grow in size and accomplishment each year.
Glor Na nGael is affiliated with John P. McGuinness - Richard Fitzsimons Division 14 of the Ancient Order of Hiberians in Lynbrook New York and has a close relationship with St. Mary’s Council 2228 of the Knights of Columbus, also of Lynbrook, NY.
