NETWORK ENGINEER
Location of Offered Employment: 3003 Summer Street, Stamford, Connecticut 06905
Work Schedule: 9:00AM - 5:30PM; Monday - Friday
Description:
Analyze the Network Infrastructure process and systems. Responsibilities include: installation, configuration, troubleshooting all network devices (LAN and WAN) and security; configuration and design 2-factor authentication for domain admin roles; develop testing strategies for efficient and error free testing; prepare and conduct Unit and System tests; and manage, design, configure, and build Virtualized Server Environments for various storage platforms. Must also monitor networks, system users and maintain our clients' network availability, including: monitor and manage 700 physical networking devices and server infrastructure in BMC products, BMC Portal, Fluke SuperAgent, and Cisco Works; develop and maintain the Server/Network infrastructure which includes server builds, deployment and retirements; and deployment of security patches through Bladelogic. Must also apply theoretical and practical knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter and symbolic language in order to develop and strategize solutions to compliment our clients' needs and existing assets. Finally, develop work flow diagrams detailing system capabilities and limitations; and generate weekly and monthly reports of production statistics for submission to WebHouse's Chief Operating Officer.Qualifications:
Requirements: Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or closely related field of study. Employer will accept the foreign equivalent of a US Bachelor's degree. Must have 5 years experience in the job offered or as a Project Manager or in a related occupation. Experience must include 5 years using Cisco Works, BMC Portal and Fluke SuperAgent.
